Marston Saints came from a goal behind to beat early pacesetters Oxford Irish 2-1 in a thrilling Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division encounter.

After a goalless first half, Irish took the lead when Neil McMahon’s low shot found the bottom corner of the net.

Marston levelled shortly afterwards when John Hudson sidefooted home, and 20 minutes from time substitute Mark Gaul netted the winner.

Oxford University Press extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 4-2 win against Horspath.

Rui De Garces, Neil Lockheart, Ben Strong and Paul Salmon scored for OUP, with Andrew Kirkland and Sam Gordon replying for Horspath.

Freeland drew 1-1 against Slade Farm United.

Andrew McMillan gave Slade a first-half lead with a 40-yard piledriver, before subChris Betreen levelled after the break.

Late on, Adam Philip had the chance to win it for Slade, but Jamie Leach denied him.

Adderbury Park inflicted more misery on Launton Sports with a 1-0 win, Gary Crook scoring the winner.

Wayne Desmond netted a second-half equaliser as Garsington drew 1-1 with Mansfield Road.

Dan Trinder’s penalty had given Mansfield Road the lead.

Ten-man Hinksey won 3-0 at Bletchingdon with Alex Fasoranti, Tyron Brackett and Craig Bloomfield on target.

Hinksey went a man down after the break when Jerome McCalmon was sent off for a second yellow card.

Josh Northam scored a brace on his Broughton & North Newington debut in a 3-0 win against Yarnton in Division 1.

Northam scored the opener and Laurence Caro drove in the equaliser from 20 yards.

Northam completed his double with a long-range effort.

Riverside made it three wins on the spin with a 2-0 victory at Chadlington, with goals from Lennie Sackey and Ben Green.

Jack Eley hit a hat-trick for Enstone in a 4-0 win against Long Crendon. Paul Allen completed their tally.

Northway fought back from a goal down to beat Kidlington Old Boys 3-2.

Kristian Thomas fired Kid-lington ahead, with Naveed Akram equalising.

Daniel Vjestica gave Northway a 2-1 lead with a fine individual effort, only for Daniel Burrows to level.

Akram then netted the late winner.
