Chipping Norton 2, Kidlington 3 Paul Lee's dramatic signing of Jermaine McSporran paid immediate dividends when the former Wycombe Wanderers striker scored Kidlington's winner in Saturday's exciting Premier Division clash.

McSporran, who moved from Oxford City to Wycombe for a reported six-figure sum in 1998, was snapped up by Lee after being released by Coca-Cola League Two side Chester City.

Kidlington took a first-half lead through Keiran Davis, with an acrobatic volley from 25 yards, while Chippy striker Steve Knight was sent off before half-time for two yellow cards.

The referee evened up matters by dismissing Lee Hewlett in similar fashion after the break, which seemed to upset the Kidlington play.

Chippy equalised through Steve Olczak and then took the lead when Gary Wilson shot home through a crowd of players.

Moments later, McSporran was chopped down inside the penalty area, and Ben Moses equalised from the penalty spot.

McSporran got the winner in the 76th minute, when making no mistake from Davis's pass.

Witney Utd 3, Milton Utd 2 Witney climbed into the top six after three first-half goals saw off the challenge of Milton.

They scored twice in the first 17 minutes, as Ben Border and Danny Wise combined to set up the first goal for Jamie Cook, while Tom Butler (pictured ) clipped the second over keeper Gareth Walker.

Milton responded as Darren Howell pulled a goal back with a looping header.

But Witney restored their two-goal advantage in the 36th minute when great play by Butler and Cook set up a goal for Wise.

A wonder save by Walker from Butler after the break kept Milton in the game, before Milton were awarded a mysterious penalty, which Vinnie Rusher coolly placed home.

Abingdon Tn 1, Pegasus Jun 1 An injury-time goal from Rob Powell earned Abingdon Town a draw against fellow strugglers Pegasus.

A deep Paul Douglas corner fell nicely into the path of defender Powell, who bundled it home to the delight and relief of the home fans.

This goal nullified a 40th-minute strike from Pegasus forward Chris Mortlock.

Abingdon were also indebted to keeper Gordon Hearmon, who did well to block a close range effort from Rob Laurie just after the break.

Thame United 1, Almondsbury Town 1.

Thame Utd, playing 40 minutes with ten men, extended their unbeaten run to three games with a notable draw against third-placed Almondsbury.

Thame's best first-half chance came after 20 minutes when Nathan Jack hit a powerful shot which Andy King, the Almondsbury keeper did well to save.

The second half was only five minutes old when Thame were reduced to ten men as the normally placid Simon Rodgers was sent off for retaliation.

Almondsbury went ahead in the 55th minute when winger Adam Cole's timid shot was deflected by Paul Fowler through the legs of a Thame defender into the goal.

Thame equalised ten minutes later with a well-worked goal. Jack collected the ball just outside the area and fed it left to Joe Da Silva, who hit home a quality 15-yard shot from an acute angle.

Late on, the visitors hit the woodwork.

Shortwood Utd 0, Bicester Tn 0 Bicester's young squad earned a creditable draw away at Shortwood. Chances were limited as both defences were on top.
