WANTAGE rider John Paul completed a clean sweep of junior sprint titles when he won the British version at Manchester.
The 18-year-old pupil at King Alfred’s Sport & Community College cruised to victory in the national final to add to his successes in the world and European junior championships.
In addition, Paul claimed a silver medal in the keirin, despite showing signs of his recent hectic schedule.
Paul’s next outing comes in the senior national championships, also in Manchester, which take place from September 28 to October 2.
In this he will be competing only in the team event for City of Edinburgh, as he is having a break from individual competiton.
