Oxfordshire junior Charles Davidmann, 18, won the UK Championship title in the Olympic Skeet Shotgun at the South Wales 2000 shooting ground in Cardiff The 18-year-old from Thame, who receives funding through the TASS scheme for promising youngsters, is one of only two juniors to win the senior title.

Davidmann also won the junior title with a score of 184/200.

It goes with the senior and junior gold medals he won at the Britannia Grand Prix in April.

That saw him represent the GB Junior team at the selection shoot in June.

He won the junior gold medal at the Belgrade Grand Prix in Serbia in July.

He has just finished his A-Levels at Magdalen College School, Oxford, is taking a gap year to focus on shooting before taking up a place at university in 2012.
