ABINGDON Rowing Club’s women crews enjoyed a successful day with four victories at the Maidenhead Regatta.
Their intermediate 2 quad of Victoria Bennett, Claire Hutchings, Amelia Munsey and Laura Richards beat Weybridge to win their final.
Munsey collected a second cup when taking the intermediate 3 singles final.
Richards then partnered Frances Burge to capture the novice coxless pairs crown.
The club’s other victory came from Karen Roberts in the women’s masters singles.
Abingdon’s Ian Marriott won two masters E singles titles at the Peterborough Regatta.
More successes for Abingdon came from James Bellis and Michael Lynch in the novice doubles, and from Paul Godsafe and Carl Willott in the masters B double.
