Nick Ferraby top-scored with 32 in Oxford’s defeat to Ealing
OXFORD crashed out of the Barbados Cockspur Club t20 after a six-wicket defeat at hosts Ealing.
The Home Counties Premier League champions made just 122-9 after choosing to bat in their South East Area semi-final, then Ealing raced to 122-4 in 14.5 overs.
Nick Ferraby top-scored with 32 off 13 balls, before he was run out, while Jamie Perkin added 28 and Shami Mendis 27.
But tight bowling from Oliver Wilkin (4-15) kept Ealing on top, then Chris Peploe (46) led their run chase.
Ealing went on to defeat Swardeston by five wickets in the area final.
