Oxford Downs went back to the top of the table thanks to convincing victory at Leighton Buzzard Town.

Composed innings of 94 not out by Tim Sutton and 71 by Andrew Buckingham took Downs to 204-4 with seven balls to spare in a perfectly timed run chase.

Earlier Town's 202-9 was built around decent knocks by Lee Selfe (38), Alfie Ruston (33) and then Dave Roberts (45no), while Lester Smart claimed 3-35 from 18 tight overs while Harry Sutton took 4-70 from 17.

Cumnor’s title chances were all but dashed by a sloppy fielding performance at home to strugglers Bletchley Town.

Carl Thompson (3-38) and Miles Hammond (3-50) had reduced Town to 87-6, but James Sprittles was then allowed to hit 58 not out and the visitors recovered to 182-9.

Jude Ramanadanpulle took 4-64 and Mark Roberts 3-35 as Cumnor succumbed for 132, with only Sam Jones (53) showing much appetite for runs.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts were blown away for 96 on their way to a ten-wicket defeat at Great & Little Tew that left them pointless.

Only Zia Hamid (31) was at the crease for long as Liam Manley (4-19) and Andy Harris (3-21) wreaked havoc.

Ashley Hubbert (44no) and Harry Smith (39no) then took Tew to 98-0.

Buckingham Town also won by ten wickets at home to hapless Bourton Vale.

The visitors fared reasonably well with the bat, reaching 163 through Sam Arthurs (38no), Barnaby Morton (32) and Josh Fielding (32).

Joshua Nix was the pick of the Town attack, taking 3-42 as Vale were all out in the 50th over.

Ashley Pearson (87no) and Andrew Fletcher (63no) then wasted no time in reaching 166 without loss in only 20.2 overs.
