Morning leaders Great & Little Tew 2nd suffered a one-wicket defeat at Stokenchurch. Tew had posted 227 thanks to Dave Powles (74) and Sammy Licence (54), Ryan Gurton taking 5-39 and Arshad Latif 4-55. Latif then hit 45 and Kevin Taylor took 5-57, but Tom Carpenter’s 102 off 124 balls set up victory off the second ball of the final over.

Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd beat Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd by 142 runs. Ian Lewis smashed 80 off 66 balls, and Ross Barrett 78 in Shipton’s 271-7, Yogesh Mistry taking 5-91. Town fell to 129 all out despite Chris Hipwell’s 46.

Wallingford climbed off the bottom despite only drawing at Oxford 3rd. Miles Picknett (70) and Callum Biel (44) led Oxford to 216, Warren Ainsworth taking 4-70. Then Will Emmett (38), Lee Ainsworth (33), Darren Grist (31) and Colin Allen (31no) took Wallingford to 192-6.

Cumnor 2nd collapsed to 78 all out in a nine-wicket defeat at Chearsley. Anthony Shorter made 33 as Ben Lazaruk took 3-12 and Ejaz Ahmed 3-15. Russell Haynes (42no) led Chearsley to 79-1.

Buckingham Town 2nd’s Dominic Pritchard (4-29) and Oliver Burnley (3-12) bowled Kimble out for 91, then Andy Thatcher (34) and Graham Judd (30) saw Town to 94-2.
