Andy Darby’s 102 out and Alex Kelly’s 6-31 were not enough to fire Great & Little Tew 3rd to victory over Kingston Bagpuize 2nd in Division 8. Tew’s 237-4 also featured 48 from Ben Millard, while Paul Temple hit 46 not out in Kingston’s 115-7 to secure the draw. Two 16-year-olds shone as Didcot 4th drew with Kingston Bagpuize 3rd in Division 10. Alex Rodman (108) smashed his maiden century in Didcot’s 257-8 dec, which also saw Kingston’s George Woodley take 5-47. Then Rodman’s fellow teenager Travis Green claimed 5-13 to help restrict Bagpuize to 137-9 in which Andrew Kumar hit 35 not out and Dick Giles 35. Veteran Phil Slatter and under 12 player Jordan Garrett combined to take Great & Little Tew 4th within a wicket of victory against Thame Town 3rd. Slatter made 62 and Garrett 50 in Tew’s 176-9, in which Ollie Sutcliffe, 13, took 4-18 and 15-year-old James Adams 3-26. Stuart Sutcliffe top-scored with 64 in Thame’s reply, which ended on 159-9, thanks to Slatter (4-38) and Garrett (3-56).
