Thame Town were sucked back into the Home Counties Premier League Division 2 West relegation dogfight after suffering a six-wicket hammering by fellow strugglers Gerrards Cross.
Batting first on a pitch freshened by early morning rain, Thame perished for 78 all out.
Mike Higgs and James Neil-son seemed to cope but both got themselves out – a trend the later batsmen repeated.
In reply, Gerrards Cross lost two wickets in Sam Lachlan’s second over.
Two more wickets followed, but Cross collected maximum points to go just 13 points behind Thame.
