Emile Faurie has been called into the GB squad for the FEI European Championships later this month
Milton-under-Wychwood based Emile Faurie expressed his joy after being selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI European Championships in Rotterdam later this month.
Faurie, 47, has represented Great Britain at World, European and Olympic level and was best of the British at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
His partner for the Europeans will be Joanne Vaughan’s Elmegardens Marquis. The pair had a top-three finish in the Grand Prix Special in Austria.
Faurie said: “I am ecstatic and over the moon. It’s simply an honour to be part of such a strong team.”
