Abingdon School cox Neil McKenzie and City of Oxford’s Cloudy Carnegie won medals with Britain’s second string team in the European Junior Championships.
McKenzie, coxing both the eight and the four, ended up with four medals – three gold and one silver.
His schoolmate, William Davey, won a silver and bronze in the coxless fours.
Carnegie achieved a bronze in the women’s pair and a silver in the eight.
This was in spite of having to compete in two virtually consecutive 2,000 metre races in the pair on Saturday after a disqualification of a rival crew.
Closer to home, Abingdon RC’s Alison Brighton took the intermediate 2 singles at Henley Town Regatta.
