Wallingford’s Anna Reid took the sculls for England.

In the men’s section, Tom Watson, from Isis, won the lightweight doubles with a London partner.

And Abingdon School’s Jack Walker was in a junior composite four which won easily.

Wallingford rowers also enjoyed success at Strathclyde.

Rowing for Wales, Edward Hares had one second place.

His brother, Robert, and cox Bea Searle, who trains on the Wallingford waters, were members of the Wales men’s coxed four and the men’s eight, both of whom also secured runner-up spots.

Meanwhile, Wallingford’s junior women came first in the J15 coxed quad and J15 double at the Burway junior and masters regatta.
