Oxford United striker Matt Green is to join Mansfield Town today on a loan deal that will last until December 31.
Green had a loan spell at Cheltenham Town last season, playing 19 games, but has not featured for United during pre-season.
The striker, who scored United’s opening goal in their 3-1 win over York City at Wembley in the Conference Play-off Final in May 2010, joins former U’s players Rhys Day and Adam Murray at the Stags.
