ABINGDON Vale turned on a powerful performance to beat Bicester & North Oxford by eight wickets in the Oxfordshire Under 11 final at Charlbury.
Bicester won the toss and batted first, posting 81-5.
This was a good effort, with a stand of 53 between Joe Moorman and Lewis Moore getting them back on track after losing early wickets.
In reply, Harrison Ward and Tom Price got Vale off to a cracking start, and the result was never in doubt as they eased home.
Earlier, Vale beat Cumnor by ten wickets, while Bicester did likewise against Combe.
