Abingdon jet-skier Paul Attwell won the Am300 Class at the third P1 AquaX round in Plymouth.
He made the most of the absence of championship leader Dave Huddleston to close the gap at the top of the table to just six points with two rounds to go.
After completing a Kawasaki 1-2-3, Attwell said: “That was good. The weather was really unpredictable, it didn’t allow you to get complacent and I had to be constantly alert and aware.”
