Matt Warner claimed a hat-trick in figure of 3-7 as Kingston Bagpuize kicked off their Oxfordshire Under 17 League campaign with a three-wicket win over Ducklington.

Warner’s treble helped to restrict Ducklington to 86-8, then Jamie Cox hit 25 as Kingston reached 88-7.

Richard Sweet scored a superb century as Combe defeated Sandford St Martin by 63 runs.

Combe posted 184-3, Sweet finishing 100 not out, before Sandford replied with 121-5.

Great & Little Tew rattled up 197-5 to thrash Freeland by 121 runs.

Curtly Slatter hit 71 and Jamie Morton 50, and then Chris Hicks took 3-28 as Freeland were restricted to 76-9.

North Cotswold beat Great & Little Tew by eight wickets in the final of the Oxfordshire Under 15 Club Championship.

They restricted Tew to 63-7 in their 20 overs, before easing to 66-2 in 10.4 overs.

In the first national round, North Cotswold defeated Stoughton & Thurnby (Leicestershire) by 21 runs.
