Horspath Hammers produced a great display to win the British Under 13 Team Championship at Hull.
The five-strong side of Jordan Richardson, George Horsley, Jake Neighbour, Alice Neighbour and Alfie Wakefield came out on top by four points.
Result: Horspath Hammers 44 (A Neighbour 2, G Horsley 13, A Wakefield 2, J Neighbour 12, J Richardson 15), East Newport 40, Astley & Tydlesley 39, Bretford 35.
Meanwhile, Mark Boaler was unbeaten as Horspath’s senior side got back to Regional League action with a comfortable 104-76 win over Helligly Lions.
And with their second team winning 58-41 and the Conference side recording a 90-59 success, Horspath landed a clean sweep.
