Banbury's Gary Boyd made the cut at the 140th Open at Royal St George' after finishing one above par with a second round of 71.
Oxford's Adam Wootton had a disastrous day with a second round of 82. He dropped ten shots on the opening four holes as he finished 13 above par.
Thame's Craig Hinton, who endured a torrid time yesterday with a 12 over par 82, is ten above par after the opening six holes
