Oxford Downs 2nd dismissed Dinton 2nd for only 59 on their way to an easy win that saw them return to the top of the Cherwell League Division 3 table.

Steve Roberts (5-34) and Matt Holyland (4-16) shared the wickets, then Ian Caunce crashed 30 as Downs rushed to 60-3.

Kingston Bagpuize lost ground on the leading pack when they slipped to a heavy defeat at Bledlow Village.

Martin Shepherd’s 30 was the only highlight of King-ston’s 175-9, as Chris Spooner (4-38) held sway.

Adam Mould (87no) and Matt Bolton (58) made batting look easy in Bledlow’s 178-2.

Hanborough’s upturn in form continued as they dominated their drawn match with local rivals Witney Mills.

Matt Neilson’s 61 set them on the way to 212-7 after Mills had won the toss, then Grant Conquest took 4-35 to put the visitors behind the clock.

But Gary Ouldfield’s 49 and some late resistance earned Witney a draw on 137-8.

Wayne Hazel took 4-39 as Cropredy restricted Bicester & North Oxford to 154-7.

Ian Horner (50) batted well for the hosts, but their total proved inadequate as Pete Cooling (48) and Joe Fox (40) saw Cropredy to 156-4.

Rain curtailed the match between Bledlow Ridge and Twyford when the visitors were closing in on victory.

Twyford made 169, led by Zawar Hussain (43) and Stafford Sansome (41).

Martin Middleton hit 49 for Ridge before the heavens opened in the 37th over with their score on 129-8.
