Thame came so close to upsetting Division 2 West leaders Burnham, but ended up losing by two wickets.
A Burnham victory seemed a foregone conclusion when Thame slumped to 89-6 after choosing to bat first.
But a spirited sixth-wicket stand of 72 between Jaydeep Bhatti, who top-scored with 63, and Manoj Parmar pulled the innings around.
They reached 188 before being all out in the 60th over. Faisal Yasin the pick of the bolwers with 4-45.
In reply, decisions did not go Thame’s way and Rehman capitalised to smash a quickfire 98, taking Burnham to 132-1.
The game seemed dead and buried at tea.
But another spirited comeback from Thame led to Burnham needing nine runs with only two wickets remaining.
With a draw never in sight it was Burnham who got over the finishing line to take all 25 points.
