OCA League Divisions 4-11
CHETAN Patel returned fantastic figures of 8-22 to help Cairns Fudge to a massive 229-run win over Cassington in Division 5.
Fudge batted first and rattled up a massive 285-4 with Mark Chandler (75no) and Ralph Smith (70) in form.
Patel then took over with the ball, his haul skittlling Cassington for 56.
In Division 4, Chris Penny’s 7-19 helped Britwell Salome to a two-wicket win at Hailey.
Hailey were all out for 107, but Britwell were thankful to Andy Herrington (63no) as they edged to 108-8.
Jason Penn slammed 145 not out for Kilkenny in their 174-run win over Shrivenham 2nd in Division 6.
Kilkenny amassed 273-6, which proved well beyond Shrivenham, who were dismissed for 99.
Youngster Elliott Crowther took 5-23 to help Minster Lovell 2nd to a 19-run win over Dorchester.
In Division 7, Kidlington romped to a ten-wicket success against Ducklington.
A youthful Ducklington side posted an impressive 213-8 in their 45 overs, but Kidlington cruised to victory at 214-0 as Nick Jeacock scored 111 not out and Richard Walker 85 not out.
Wicket-machine Dan Smith claimed another five-wicket haul in Kings Sutton’s three-wicket win at Stonesfield 2nd.
The home side were dismissed for 135, Smith taking 5-32.
Brody Chequer (41) then led Kings Sutton to 136-7.
In Division 8, Paul Duester snr scored 90 not out to help Chadlington 2nd to a 66-run win over Marcham 2nd.
Dave Mayers took 6-39 as Minster Lovell 3rd upset title-chasing East & West Hendred 2nd with a four-wicket win in Division 9.
Hendred were all out for 119, before Minster reached 120-6.
In Division 10, Sunningwell 2nd saw off Kidlington 2nd by five wickets.
Kidlington posted 184-8, but a super knock of 89 not out from Robert Hussey led Sunningwell to 185-5.
Sam Wharton’s 6-13 helped Division 11 leaders Garsington 3rd to a 104-run win over Kilkenny 2nd.
