Dean Creed took 4-34 and Andy Cummings 3-19, including a hat-trick, as Horspath 2nd won by seven wickets at Thame Town 2nd. Town made 165 thanks to Alastair Thomas (72), but that proved some way short as Joe Todd (74no) steered the visitors to 166-3.

Tiddington 2nd spinners Neil Smith (4-33) and Robin Pykett (3-14) reduced Challow & Childrey 2nd to 141 all out. Rob Owen made 40 for the visitors and then took 4-34 as Tiddington were made to work hard for their 142-7 in 35 overs.

Matthew Jones top-scored with 72 and then took 5-53 as Didcot saw off Banbury 3rd by 20 runs. Didcot were bowled out for 192, with Jamie Coles taking 5-66 and Andrew Stevens 4-48. Jack Lambden then hit 51 and Neil Megson 44, but Jones’ inspired spell meant they were bowled out for 172.

Banbury Twenty 2nd avoided defeat for the first time this season at fellow strugglers Cropredy 2nd. Ralph Orchard had hit 69 and Tim Coggins 47 in Cropredy’s 254-7 dec. Brian Griffiths (60), Abeed Rehman (50) and Barry Grant (43) then took Twenty to 230-6, while Altaf Hussain took 4-32.

Cublington’s Steve Godfrey (4-14), Will Rayner-Thompson (3-14) and Kieron Sear (3-30) bowled out Brackley for 96. Jamie Leggett then hit 45 not out and Bill Burton 36 not out as the home side eased to 97-1.
