Harrison Ridge and Elisha Gujral were the local success stories at Esporta’s Wimbledon Week tournament.

The LTA-sanctioned event saw 150 juniors take part, with Ridge, from Henley, and Gujral, from Woodstock, winning the under 12 boys and girls singles events.

Danny Lythgoe, from Clifton Hampden, was runner-up in the under 18 boy’s singles, with Drayton’s Alice Atkins runner-up in the under 16 girls’ event.

Swinford’s Chloe Elliott completed the Oxfordshire award-winners, finishing runner-up in the under 8 category.

The story of the week, however, was the performance of sisters Isabelle and Eloise Taylor, from New South Wales.

Both girls blew away British opposition and won the under 10 and under 8 events respectively, having entered the event while on holiday visiting relatives.
