A SPECTACULAR century from Tim Hardy gave Oxford Downs a convincing 84-run victory over Kingston Bagpuize in their second-round tie.

Hardy hit 106 as Downs rattled up a massive 221-3 from their 20 overs.

Martin Shepherd led Kingston’s reply with a brilliant 91, but they finished well short.

Challow & Childrey were given a stern test by Didcot before winning by 18 runs.

Challow were restricted to 106-6, but Rob Owen’s spell of 4-17 limited Didcot to 88-8.

The biggest win of the round came from Shipton-under-Wychwood, who hammered Buscot Park by 150 runs.
