Boyd shoots into contention
Banbury golfer Gary Boyd shot a second-round 65 to stand only two-shots off the lead after two rounds of the Italian Open in Turin.
Boyd (pictured), from Cherwell Edge GC, who earlier this week qualified for next month’s Open Championship at Royal St George’s, Sandwich, stands on ten-under-par 132, two behind leader, Robert Rock.
