Berinsfield ABC light flyweight James Maughan has added two victories to his tally.
The 14-year-old stopped Zoltan Lesings inside a round at Hayes, and then recorded a points victory over the host club’s John Buckmaster at Chepstow.
Maughan’s clubmate, Jakey McDonagh, posted a points win over Jimmy Doe (Triumph) at Coventry.
The 12-year-old southpaw missed out on a second win with a dubious points defeat by Hoddesdon’s Ranjiv Khan at Hayes.
Ciaran Flanagan, also from Berinsfield, was the victim of inconsistent judging as John Edwards gained a debatable split verdict at Coventry.
And Bersinfield’s Niamh McGuckin, 12, faces Emma Dolan (Attleborough ABC) in the national schoolgirls’ under 13 40kg final at Mansfield Leisure Centre next Saturday.
