REBECCA Hussey bagged a sprint double as Team Oxfordshire finished fourth in the National Junior League Thames Division second round meeting at Watford.

The 18-year-old Oxford City athlete clocked 12.5secs to win the 100m and 25.4 to take the 200m at the under 20 event.

City’s James Cody won the 2,000m steeplechase in 6.57.2, while Radley’s Gemma Bridge triumphed in the 3,000m, clocking 11.05.9.

Marcus Woodington (Oxford City) secured victory in the 400m hurdles after producing a time of 57.8secs.

Oxon’s final individual winner was Emily Moore (Oxford City), who leapt 4.95m in the long jump.

In the relays, Oxon were third in the men’s 4x100m and second in the 4x400m.

Oxon’s women won the 4x100m and came third in the 4x400m.

Second places were secured by Cody and Amy Brooker (Oxford City) in the 800m, recording 2.03.9 and 2.26.2 respectively.

City clubmate Lauren Haw-tin earned Oxon a second place after clocking 4.54.8 in the 1,500m.

Danielle Anderson (Oxford City) was second in the javelin with a throw of 37.14m.

There were third places from Jordan Dorrian (Radley) in the 200m and long jump, Alex Mills (White Horse Harriers) in the 1,500m, Stacey Hazell (Radley) in the 100m hurdles and Peter Barnshaw (Abingdon Amblers) in the high jump.

Also finishing third were Moore in the triple jump, Megan Davies (Bicester/Banbury) in the discus and Mark Warland (Oxford City) in the hammer.
