Clive Woodward had a superb day as he led Garsington to a seven-wicket victory at Marcham in OCA League Division 1.

Woodward claimed superb figures of 7-31 to help dismiss Marcham for 137, before hitting 68 to see his side to a convincing victory at 138-3.

Another all-round star performance came from Shrivenham’s Adam Tucker as they thumped Westbury by 78 runs.

Batting first, Shrivenham rattled up 233-5, Tucker hitting 82 and Shaz Khan 51.

Tucker then took centre stage with the ball, claiming 7-39 to help dismiss Westbury for 155.

Horley were far too strong for East Oxford, cruising to a nine-wicket win.

Three wickets apiece from Dave Eaton, Steve Palmer and Jonathan Hart helped to roll East Oxford over for 131.

Nick Tarrant (74no) led the way in Horley’s 135-1.

Tetsworth picked up their first win of the campaign, edging past Minster Lovell by 15 runs.

Great Horwood saw off Charlbury by 35 runs.

Neil Wilkins (4-32) shone with the ball as Charlbury were all out for 138 in reply to Horwood’s 173.

In Division 2, Mike Hume took 6-31 to help Faringdon beat Oxenford by 41 runs.

The home side posted 213-9, Tim Thurston hitting 57, before Hume’s haul saw the visitors dismissed for 172.

Freeland recorded a 36-run win against Stonesfield.

Max Godwin scored 66 in Freeland’s 204-5, before claiming 3-52 in Stonesfield’s 168.

Oxford Caribbean saw off Witney Swifts by four wickets.

Swifts crawled to 144-5 in their 45 overs, Josh Grant top-scoring with 62 not out.

Zabi Saeed (52no) led Carib-bean to 148-6.

Danny Harding hit 94 and Freddie Magee 77 as Chadlington thrashed Combe by 198 runs in Division 3.

Chadlington rattled up 248-4, before Steve Hunt (5-29) and Matthew Duester (4-17) ripped through Combe for just 50.

East & West Hendred lost by 66 runs at home to Winslow Town.

The visitors posted a mammoth 330-5 as Jamie Litherland scored 92 and Callum Price 73.

Ivan Mulford (89) led Hendred’s reply, but they fell short on 264 all out.

Youngster George Storton made 66 to help West Ilsley to a four-wicket win over Clifton Hampden.

Clifton were all out for 204, Sinith Chandran taking 4-46, before Storton led Ilsley home.

In Division 4, Fringford were too strong for Wootton & Boars Hill, cruising to an eight-wicket win.

John Bacon captured 4-20 in Wootton’s 150 all out and then scored 79 not out as Fringford eased in at 151-2.

Charlbury 2nd overcame Deddington by four wickets.

Deddington stumbled from 80 without loss to 158-9 in their 45 overs, spinners Sam Haselgrove and Charlie Sinton taking 4-49 and 4-37 respectively.

Charlbury reached 159-6 for victory, Sameer Pathak top-scoring with 38.

Bernard Tyler hit 91 not out in Britwell Salome’s seven-wicket win over Kennington.

Nick Humphries took 4-46 as Kennington were all out for 165 all out, before Tyler and Stuart Symes (49) sealed victory.

Ben Lucas dominated Swinbrook’s resounding eight-wicket win over Horley 2nd in Division 5.

First, he took 3-9 as Horley were bowled out for 138 – Joel Graham also claiming 4-43 – and then he cracked 114 not out as Swinbrook cruised to 143-2 in 25 overs.

Rob Gascoigne was six runs short of a ton for Brill in their 131-run win over West Witney.

Gascoigne’s 94 not out saw Brill to 236-6, before Colin Young took 4-9 as West Witney fell to 105 all out.

Cairns Fudge’s Jamie Clark took 5-40 to help his team to a 68-run triumph over Uffington.

Steve Shaw’s 54 not out saw Fudge to 219-5, before Clark took over with the ball, Uffington falling to 151 all out.

In Division 6, Chalgrove had a day to forget as they were skittled for a paltry 41 against Dorchester.

Quintin Sanders (4-18) and Michael Littleworth (4-19) did the damage, Dorchester knocking off the runs in just eight overs.

Ditta Yousaf smashed 135 not out as Stanton St John Willows beat Garsington 2nd by 58 runs.

Willows rattled up 244-4, before Akram Dogar captured 4-13 in Garsington’s 186.

A haul of 5-32 from David Berkon helped Kilkenny to a 26-run victory over Freeland 2nd.

The day’s highest individual score came from Tetsworth 2nd’s Richard Williams, who smashed 154 not out against Stonesfield 2nd in Division 7.

Williams’s knock helped Tetsworth to a formidable 279-5, then Earl RIchardson took 6-21 in Stonesfield’s 141 all out Paul Hume’s unbeaten century helped Faringdon 2nd to a 176-run win at Eynsham 2nd in Division 8.

Batting first, Faringdon posted 287-4 as Hume hit 106 not out and Richard Marlow 52. Eynsham were never in the hunt, crashing to 111 all out.

Dan Garson claimed 5-18 in Sunningwell’s 53-run victory over West Ilsley.

Will Bennett (5-14) ripped through Witney Swifts 2nd for just 64 as East & West Hendred 2nd won by five wickets to stay top of Division 9.

Nine-man Sunningwell 2nd clinched a thrilling one-run victory at Chipping Norton 2nd in Division 10, posting 156-6 as Rob Hussey weighed in with an excellent 98.

With two players short in the field, Sunningwell were always up against it, but managed to dismiss Chippy for 155.

Jonathan Kaufman grabbed 6-26 to help Britwell Salome 2nd to a 70-run win at Watlington 2nd.

The home side were shot out for 49 in reply to Britwell’s 119 all out.

In Division 11, Ducklington 2nd bounced back from the ignominy of last week’s 258-run defeat at Broughton 2nd by dishing out a hammering to Risinghurst 2nd.

Ben Reynolds (132no) and David Gee (53) saw them to 296-6, before dismissing Risinghurst for 137 in their reply.
