Horsepath fought back from a massive collapse only to lose by two wickets off the last ball at Farnham Royal in Division 2 West.

After being put in to bat, the visitors crashed from 38-0 to 42-6, with Naeem Baig claiming five of the wickets.

Skipper Robbie Eason rebuilt the innings with a determined 54, which included five fours.

And with Mark Skelton and Will Eason, whose 30 included two sixes, providing good support, Horspath reached 166-9 off their 60 overs.

Will Eason then reduced Farnham Royal to 46-3, and with Paul Jeacock (3-55) and Jehan Mohammed producing accurate spells, the hosts also found it tough going.

But with former Oxford MCCU batsman Duncan Bradshaw hitting 51, which included five fours and two sixes, and Bedfordshire captain Ollie Clayson making a fluent 40, Farnham Royal inched towards victory.

Needing five off the last over, Warren Miller (47no) saw the hosts home with a boundary off the final delivery.
