ECB 50+ County Championship
ALEC Cunningham hit an unbeaten century as Oxfordshire 50+ made it two wins out of two in Group 4 with a 66-run victory over Wales 50+ at Banbury Twenty.
His chancless 104 not out took Oxon to 233-4 off their 45 overs after they won the toss and elected to bat.
Cunningham, whose innings included 12 fours and one six, and Mickey Thomas (44no) smashed 90 off the last nine overs after Oxon had been 58-2 off 23 overs.
Wales were then bowled out for 167, with off-spinners Rob Willis and Cunningham bowling in tandem to put the visitors well behind the clock.
Willis took 3-13 off his nine overs – with six of those runs coming from a single blow – while Cunningham completed a fine all-round display with 2-17 off his nine overs.
Oxon host Worcestershire at Oxford Downs on Thursday.
