OXFORD Ladies edged out North Oxford to win the Oxfordshire Ladies’ Seniors Alliance Stableford competition at Kirtlington.
The trio of Maggie Edwards, Anne Clarke and Judy McCairns carded 78 points, with Margaret Eynon, Janet Clarke and Trish Traynor on 77 for North Oxford.
Margaret Quarterman, Zazie Carruthers and Di Harper (The Springs) took third on 76.
They pipped Frilford Heath’s Jean Lees, Iona Smith and Pam Matthews on countback, despite Lees holing her second shot on the par-four sixth hole for an eagle.
