Ben Hookham scored four of Charlton United Res’ goals in their 7-2 win against Kidlington Old Boys Res in Division 2 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Mark Hobbs put away Richie Knight’s pass to fire Charlton ahead, only for Kidlington keeper Jack Wells to level from the penalty spot when he beat opposite number Darren Cooper.

Hookham notched a double with Tom Sullivan making it 4-1 before Hookham completed his treble.

After the break, Wells completed his penalty double, to cut the deficit, only for Hookham to take his season’s tally to 17 with his fourth.

Jovan Vukoman wrapped up the rout after substitute James McAdam’s 30-yard shot came back off a post.

Kidlington Old Boys wrapped up their Division 1 campaign with a 4-0 hammering of Oxford Irish.

The hosts went ahead early on when Kane Adams fired home, before Sam Ponting and Billy Truby made it 3-0 at the break.

In the second half, Tony Skinner slotted home No 4 to finish joint top goalscorer with Daniel Jones.

The result saw Kidlington leapfrog Northway for a third-place finish.

In midweek, goals from Chris Phillpott and Stephen Gardner saw Slade Farm United crowned champions with a 2-1 win at Oakley United for whom Riccar Bruno replied.
