Lambourn Sports lifted the North Berks League Division 1 title after coming from behind to defeat Harwell Village 3-1, writes Phil Annetts.

Gareth Fenton gave Harwell a second-minute lead.

But a 30th-minute strike by Paul Davis and a Dave Livings double either side of half-time secured Lambourn the points they needed to win the championship.

Their main challengers, Didcot Casuals, went down 4-2 at home to Saxton Rovers, despite goals from Lee Newport and Dan Cox-Rogers.

Coleshill United saw out their Division 3 campaign with a 5-1 home win over Benson AFC Res, thanks to goals from Pete Byrne (2), Mani Roper, Jamie Quinton and John Edmonds. Andrew Hayes replied.

Stanford in the Vale finished off their season in style winning 8-3 at Drayton Res.

Steve Holder grabbed a hat-trick. Tyrone Mayall scored twice and their other goals came from Dan Bradbury, Sam Rees and Dan Brearley.

For Drayton, Tom Stanley bagged a brace and Ashley Seamark netted the other, In Division 5, Dan Bracegirdle grabbed all five goals in Benson Lions Res’ 5-3 win over Hanney United Res for whom John James scored a double. Grant Harris completed their tally.
