City of Oxford bagged six county records and 20 gold medals in a highly successful visit to the Midland Masters Regional Championships in Leamington.
Chris Marsh (25-29) led the way, setting two individual county age group records and gaining a third as part of City’s victorious 4x50m freestyle 100+year relay team.
Marsh won the 400m individual medley (IM), clocking 5mins 12.19secs and doubled up with gold in the 200m backstroke - 2.32.74.
The relay quartet of Chris Aust (24.10), Marsh (25.29), Romulo de Lazzari (24.16) and Marcos Vieira (24.50) clocked 1.38.23.
Graeme Spence (25-29) also earned a county age group record brace, securing gold in the 200m breaststroke (2.32.63) and a dominant victory in the 200m IM (2.16.07).
City’s other record-breaker was Maggie Smith (50-54) who clocked 2.36.97, while finishing second in the 200m freestyle.
