TRAFALGAR Cup victor Spencers Lad will be looking to turn the tables on the Richard Yeates-trained Alarming Alan in the Stuart Locke-Hart Memorial Trophy over 450 metres at Oxford Stadium tonight.

On Saturday, Angie Kibble’s charge went down by a neck on the run-in to Alarming Alan who has a fair turn of foot late on.

Spencers Lad will need a better getaway from the boxes tonight if he is to gain revenge over Yeates’s impressive newcomer.

Ballymac Gold, trained by Richard Baker, looks a good thing in the top sprint of the evening a D2 over 250 metres.

Gold trialled 15.08 over the trip and can come home from Lisnakill Chef and local favourite Kisskissbangdang.

Meanwhile, Silkmore Sunset, who was runner-up to the in-form Bumblebee Wendy, can get back to winning ways in the S2 over 595 metres and give Nick Colton another winner.
