WATERSTOCK member George Locke has bagged his first hole-in-one at the age of 82.
Locke ace the par-three 160-yard 16th hole at Staverton Park during their Waterstock’s seniors tour.
His feat was more remarkable as he has recovered from a triple heart bypass operation.
Richard Pineo also shot a hole-in-one during Five Star Events’ Liz Harris Cup at Tadmarton Heath.
Pineo bagged his ace on the tenth hole as Five Star hosted their first tournament of 2011, raising funds for the Footsteps Foundation.
Stefan McGarry is our third ace of the week, hitting a hole-in-one on the par-three 11th as he won Division 1 of Kirtlington’s Stableford.
In the same competition, 11-year-old Gregor McKenzie won Division 3 to record first senior victory.
