DEFENDING champions Chipping Norton are still looking for a first win of 2011 in Section 1 of the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League after drawing with leaders Frilford Heath.
Chippy led in all three of their matches, but had to be content with ending frilford’s run of three straight wins.
An eagle on the seventh hole from Jordan Garnish and Pete Green helped The Oxfordshire Studley Wood 2-1.
Garnish and Green hammered Nick Mortimer and John McClure 7&6 in match three as the hosts collected their first victory of the campaign.
