Oxfordshire Championships Boys' round-up

WHITE Horse Harrier Ryan Craze grabbed double gold in the under 13 boys’ 100 and 200m.

The youngster produced a winning time of 13.11 in the 100m, which ranks him eighth in the UK this season. He then won the 200m in 27.60.

Thomas McClimont (Ra-dley) also clinched two golds, winning the high jump and shot.

His clubmate, Robby Crowther, won the javelin with 33.75m and discus (20.33m).

The 800m was won by Nicholas Mahon (Oxford City), who clocked 2.31.59.

In the under 15 boys’ competition, there was yet another sprint double from Banbury Harrier Liam Grieveson.

Witney Roadrunner Ja-mes Currah landed the 400m title, while clubmates Nicholas Anstee, Charlie Williams and Calum McGinness posted a 1-2-3 in the shot.

Banbury Harriers’ Tom Biegel secured gold medals in the under 17 boys’ 1500m steeplechase, clocking 5.11.90 and 3000m (9.53.66), while Thomas Napiorkowski (Oxford City) won three golds with successes in the shot, discus and hammer.

There was also a jumps double for Banbury’s Sam Edwards, who won the long jump with 6.29m and triple jump (12.21m).

In the sprints, Banbury Harriers’ Leigh Watson won the 100m in 11.39, while Radley’s Jordan Dorrian won the 200m in 23.37.
