Mid Oxon Under 15s warmed up for the ESFA Trophy final against Dacorum at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford United, tomorrow (6.30pm) by lifting the Oxfordshire Cup.
A 2-2 draw against Vale of White Horse at Letcombe saw Mid Oxon crowned champions on goals scored.
All three games in the competition, played on a league basis, resulted in draws.
But Mid Oxon lifted the cup as they scored four goals compared to Vale and Oxford City’s three.
Matthew Woodley’s opener for Vale after just 20 seconds was cancelled out by Liam Botcherby’s equaliser on the half-hour.
James Clarke restored Vale’s lead in the second half, but Connor Robbins’s leveller eight minutes from time gave Mid Oxon the cup.
