Neil Davies produced a devastating spell of bowling to take 7-34 – including a hat-trick – as Wallingford were rolled over by Chearsley for only 79.

The hat-trick came from the first three balls of the 20th over to bring an end to the home side’s innings.

Nick Grimsdell (44no) steered Chearsley to 80-4.

Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd would have been confident of victory after Ian Lewis (65) and helped them to 258-6 at Kimble.

But Bradley Rose (94no), Ben Mooney (84no) and Ali Russel (61) took Kimble to 259-2. Earlier Sam Agace returned 4-38 for Kimble.

Half-centuries from Jack Duffy (57) and Gary Murton (51no) saw Stokenchurch to an easy win at Oxford 3rd.

Oxford managed 183, James Smith making 41.

Stefan Reed (3-37) and Arshad Latif (3-25) starred for the visitors, who eased to a seven-wicket win.

Great & Little Tew 2nd’s Lawrence Brock took 4-35 in Buckingham Town 2nd’s 217-7, with Graham Judd batting well for his 64.

Robert Catling made 46 early in Tew’s reply, but they looked to be heading for defeat until Piers Myatt (57no) and Michael Darby (40no) saw them to 193-6.
