Anthony Tonkin was set to start at centre back for the first time for Oxford United in their final game of the season at Shrewsbury today.
He lined up in a back four that also included Damian Batt, Harry Worley and Steve Kinniburgh.
Jake Wright missed the game with a hamstring injury.
Otherwise, the team was very similar to that of recent U's games, but with Alfie Potter this time on the bench, and both Steve MacLean and Tom Craddock starting up front, alongside ex-Shrewsbury striker James Constable.
The Greenhous Meadow was rocking, with Graham Turner's team hoping for a victory that would give them a chance of promotion.
