DROOPYS Edgar, runner-up in his last three top grade outings, can overcome the bridesmaid tag in the A1 over 450 metres at Oxford Stadium tonight.

The white and black dog, trained by Ian Wills, gets the red jacket over the in-form Home Taylor, who has won three of his last five races.

Edgar is not the fastest out of the traps and must hit the ground running when the boxes fly open tonight.
