Adam Peck saved two penalties as Bletchingdon Res retained the Clarendon Cup with a 4-3 shoot-out win against Freeland Res at Kidlington FC to keep up their bid for three trophies.

Stuart Hole and Chris Gilkes saw Freeland take a 2-0 lead, only for Luke Beauchamp and Ryan Curtin to level before the break.

With no further scores, the tie went to penalties, with keeper Peck performing his heroics as his side added to last week’s Ben Turner Cup win.

They kept up their Division 2 title bid with an 8-1 win against Kidlington Old Boys, Curtin netting six times.

A Dave Harper own-goal, plus Danny Evans and Nick East goals wrapped it up.

Freeland Res won 4-2 against Marston, with James Lambert, Ethan Simlett, Jefferson Harriott and Ben Glastonbury on target. Ryan Neil (2) replied.

Kidlington Old Boys drew 3-3 with North Oxford in Division 1.

Kristian Thomas, Richard Tolley and Sam Pontin were on target for Kidlington.

Michael Hinkin, Mark Dunne and Jon Ramsey found the net for North Oxford.

A hat-trick from Kieran Duke earned Long Crendon a 3-1 success at Yarnton, for whom Mark Harper netted.

The hosts’ cause was not helped when keeper Dan Kavanagh had to go off after being injured early on.
