Oxford United skipper James Constable has won the club’s supporters player of the year award for the second time in three seasons.
Beano, United’s leading scorer with 17 goals,received the Andrew Knapton trophy before Saturday’s game against Lincoln.
The award was presented by Gillian Dix (sister of the late Knapton, voice of the London Road, when United were at the Manor Ground), and her grand-daughter, Charlotte Hardy.
Goalkeeper Ryan Clarke, last year’s winner, was this season‘s the players’ player of the year, and received his trophy (right) from United’s goalkeeping coach Alan Hodgkinson, the former England international.
The young player of the year trophy went to central defender Harry Worley.
