Aston Rowant trainer Alan Hill holds a strong hand in the men’s open at the Kimblewick Hunt meeting at Kimble, near Aylesbury, on Saturday.

He has the smart trio Dante’s Storm, Bon Accord and Start Royal among the ten-strong entry.

Dante’s Storm looks the form pick after his fifth to Zemsky in the Christie’s Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Bon Accord, second to Noble Ben at Kingston Blount last time out, has an alternative entry in the confined where Hill could run Ocean Du Moulin.

Hill also has a choice of entries in the ladies open with last year’s runner-up, Balladeer, and his dual Southern Grand National winner Mysaynoway.

The Hookie Bookie together with either of the Cynthia Haydon-ridden pair Roaringwater and Little Legend, would be big dangers.

Clerk of the course Cindy Sutcliffe reports that watering has been taking place and will continue in a bid to create good ground. The first race is at 1pm.
