OXFORD University’s Canadian international No 8 Stan McKeen captained the Barbarians to a 43-35 victory over Bedford Blues in the Mobbs Memorial Match.
McKeen, who hopes to represent Canada in the 2011 World Cup, led a Barbarians side, whose replacements included quadruple Blue Jonan Boto and veteran Chris Ritchie – another former Oxford student.
The Barbarians were coached by Italy boss and Oxford Blue Nick Mallett.
Oxon connections among the Barbarians continued with former Henley and England centre Ayoola Erinle, who has been released by Biarritz, coming off the bench.
