North Leigh leapfrogged three places into a play-off position with a 6-2 victory at home to Bishops Cleeve in Division 1 South & West of the Zamaretto Southern League last night.
The hosts were two goals up inside eight minutes through Kieron Sanders and Brian Bowles.
Bishops Cleeve pulled a goal back through Tim Haddock after 12 minutes, but further strikes from Andy Caton and Josh Dutton-Black made it 4-1 at half-time.
After the break, substitute Andy McCabe scored with his first touch.
Caton’s second made it 6-1 to North Leigh, before a late reply from Stuart Midwinter for the visitors
