Mark Jones won Oxonian CC’s Eynsham ten-mile time trial in wet and windy conditions on Wednesday night, clocking 22mins 18secs.
Neil Johnson (24.45) pipped Jake Thomas (24.46) for second.
Claire Vallance was the first lady home in 27.47, with Jan Newman (tandem) second in 28.41 and Ingrid Anson clocking 31.48 for third.
“With a head on wind on the way out and a wet road on the return, most were glad it was only ten miles,” said Oxonian publicity secretary Dennis McSweeney.
Oxonian’s next event is on their Burford/Lechlade route on April 27.
