Leaders Hanborough edged closer to the Witney & District FA's Premier Division title with a 2-0 win against third-placed Ducklington, writes Anthony Barlow.

Goals from Richard Rouse and Aston Leach saw Hanborough stay a point clear at the top with two games in hand over second-placed Spartan Rangers.

Dave Cross’s double saw Spartan to a 2-1 win against Hailey. Ryan Pratley (penalty) replied.

Mike Duerden scored four goals in Wychwood Forest’s 5-0 win over AC Finstock. Richard Proctor was their other scorer.

Minster Lovell appear consigned to relegation after losing 5-1 to Charlbury Town.

Matt Smith and Tony Bott both bagged doubles, with Craig McCallum also on target. Lamar Rowe replied.

Kingham All Blacks beat Combe 3-2 to move a step closer to safety, with goals from Matt Smith (2) and Gareth Tyack. James Newman and an own goal made up Combe’s tally .

Dan Harwood scored the winner to put FC Chequers’ promotion fate back in their own hands after 1-0 win over Chad Park in Division 1.

North Leigh A capitalised on Park’s loss to go top on goal difference in a 1-1 draw with Hanborough Res.

Jason Lonsdale scored for North Leigh, with Scott Akers replying.

FC Mills boosted their relegation battle with a 3-2 win over Ducklington Res.

Simon Grove-White scor-ed a treble, while Lee Beer and Cameron Donohoe replied.

Stanton Harcourt are six points clear at the top of Division 2 after a 3-0 win over Middle Barton, with Jake Woodcock, George Woodcock and Tom Gerken finding the net.

Witney Royals Res kept up the pressure, with a 2-1 win over Southrop.

Alex Vaughan and Steve Brasier were on target, with Richard Moore replying.

In Division 3, second-placed Freeland A are nine points off the pace, following a 2-2 draw with Minster Lovell Res, though they still have five games to play.

Eddie Dunn and Stephen Burke scored for Minster, while Freeland replied through George Wagerfield and Adrian Williams.

Carterton Pumas are Division 4 champions after a 2-0 win over Freeland B, with goals from Kyle Drummond and Dean Matthews.
